Inside Publications Hires Patricia Duffy as New Media & Marketing Manager
In this newly created position, Duffy will lead editorial and marketing initiatives for web, social media and digital outlets across the company’s portfolio of titles.
ATLANTA, Ga. – January 22, 2018. Inside Publications, which produces a portfolio of niche sports properties, is proud to announce that Patricia Duffy has joined the company in a new position as New Media and Marketing Manager. In this role, Duffy will oversee editorial and marketing initiatives across all Inside Publications social media platforms, websites, and digital offerings, optimizing the brands’ new media presence.
“Patricia’s passion for the industries that we serve, along with her incredible work ethic and enthusiastic approach, were just what we had in mind when we created this position,” said Chris Korotky, President of Inside Publications. “Patricia has been a contributor to our family of titles for some time and previously was part of our editorial internship program and has made outstanding contributions to the team. Duffy is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (A.B.J. ‘17), Sports Media Certificate and Sports Management minor. She earned her degree in three and a half years while working for and freelancing with a variety of outlets as a sports multimedia journalist, including WTVM News Leader 9, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ESPNU, The Red & Black, and 88.9 The Reach “Friday Night Under the Lights.” She also previously served as an intern in the editorial department for Inside Publications. Her passion for and pursuit of a career in sports media began at the age of 10, and she’s covered 12 different sports thus far! A former competitive cheerleader and gymnast for more than a decade, Duffy’s background, work experience, education and skillset proved to be the perfect combination for a career at Inside Publications.
